# Connect your AI assistant to PeerLink

## The easy way

Paste this into your AI assistant:

> Read https://peerlink-mw-platform.web.app/agents.md and set up PeerLink for me: connect the PeerLink MCP server, help me sign in, then help me build and publish my first app.

## By hand

1. **Get the PeerLink tools.** Your PeerLink admin provides the `peerlink` CLI, which includes the `peerlink-mcp` MCP server.
2. **Sign in once** with your organisation's PeerLink platform URL:

   ```sh
   peerlink login --url https://<your-platform-url>
   ```

   Without a browser, mint a token on the console's **Tokens** page and add `--token <token>`.
3. **Connect your assistant** to the `peerlink-mcp` stdio server.

### Claude Code

Run in your terminal:

```sh
claude mcp add --scope user peerlink -- peerlink-mcp
```

### Cursor

Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "peerlink": {
      "command": "peerlink-mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

### VS Code

Add to .vscode/mcp.json:

```json
{
  "servers": {
    "peerlink": {
      "type": "stdio",
      "command": "peerlink-mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

### Claude Desktop

Add to claude_desktop_config.json, then restart Claude:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "peerlink": {
      "command": "peerlink-mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

Then ask your assistant to build and publish an app. See the [agent guide](https://peerlink-mw-platform.web.app/agents.md) for the full workflow.
